Alouette Cranberry & Nut Baked Brie

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. Alouette Brie for baking
- 1 jar Janet’s Finets Cranberry Jalapeno compote
- 2 tbsp. packed dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp. orange extract
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 2 tbsp. chopped pecans

Recipe
Preheat oven to 425 F
Remove top rind of the brie wheel
Combine sugar, cranberry sauce , orange extract, nutmeg
Place prepared cheese in oven proof baking dish
Top with the cranberry mixture and sprinkle chopped pecans over
Bake in oven 5-6 minutes until warm
Serve with crackers, spooning from the center.

Chef’s note
For ease in removing the rind use a cheese harp or cheese wire, dental floss can be used in a pinch
