Caprice de Dieux, translated by “Whim of the Gods,” is a smooth and creamy soft-cheese with a beautiful (edible) velvety rind. This decadent recipe composed of French milk, cream, and a pinch of salt was mastered over 50 years ago by Jean-Noël Bongrain in the small village of Illoud in Haute-Marne. Its unique oval shape and fresh, melting heart have been adored as an indulgent treat since its release in France back in 1956. This is one of the best French seller!
