Dorothy’s comeback cow is made by true cheese lovers from the Midwest. Their flowery shape is a testimony of their origin, near the Appel River Canyon, where spring flower blossom at the bottom of Kolb-Lena. Bob, Dorothy’s cheesemaker, strive every day to heighten Dorothy’s cheeses’ creamy texture.
Dorothy’s milk comes from the Midwest and is sourced Locally around Lena. Today still, Dorothy’ cheese is made following traditional processes at every step: dipping, coating and wrapping.
For all these reasons, Comeback Cow was awarded the BEST Soft Ripened Cheese made in America, during the US Championship Cheese Contest held in Madison WI.
