Baked cheese with shallots and onions

  1. Heat oven to 375° F

  2. Slice off top of loaf of bread. Hollow out inside, saving cut bread for serving

  3. Remove and discard entire top rind of Alouette Double Crème de Brie or Ile de France Brie

  4. Place brie inside of bread

  5. In small bowl, combine the scallions, shallots, white pepper and white vermouth or white wine

  6. Spread shallot-onion mixture on top of brie, replace top slice of bread and wrap entire loaf of bread in aluminum foil

  7. Bake at 375° F for 30 minutes. Serve with extra bread and crackers
