Alouette Double Crème Brie is a super creamy Brie that owes its smooth taste to its rich milk.
The larger (13.2oz) version of this brie was awarded with the Silver medal in the Brie category at the United States Championship Cheese Contest in 2023.
Brie is a traditional French cheese from the region of Brie, at the border of Ile-de-France and Hauts-de France. It has a distinctive creamy heart and bloomy rind. To fully appreciate this flowing luscious cheese, we recommend you take it out of the fridge at least thirty minutes before serving.
The larger version of this brie (13.2oz) received the high distinction of the Silver medal in the Brie category at the United States Championship Cheese Contest held in Wisconsin.

The history of Brie
Brie’s tradition was born during the time of the Roman Empire in Europe. This refined cheese was widely enjoyed by the French nobility. An order of two hundred Brie cheeses was recorded for the King Philippe-Auguste. Several recipes have gained international renown, and Meaux has become known worldwide for its PDO Brie. Unfortunately, Brie-de-Meaux PDO is illegal in the USA, due to the unpasteurized milk. You are sure to be beguiled by this millennium-old cheese.

Alouette Double Crème Brie’s smooth texture and taste makes it a perfect partner for sweet ingredients, which will not overpower its flavors. While delicious on its own, you can pair it with honey or apples. Pecan and apricots are also well-tried table partners for this Brie.
